Week Of The Young Child

Our children are something we care about, love, and focus on year round. So why is there a “Week Of The Young Child”?

The purpose of this week isn’t just to give us another chance to talk about our children, it’s a chance to look at the entire picture of your child. It’s a chance to celebrate the young child as well as the early learning programs that have helped make each child who they are. It’s a chance to celebrate the family and the love within it.

We celebrate the Week of the Young Child because we want each of those parts; the programs, the family, and the child, to actively recognize the importance of the role they play and the effect the have on each other. The program changes the child, but the child changes the program.
